June 21, 2005 - Atlanta - NetCrumbs releases nStream 2.0. nStream is a cross-platform utility for easily transferring files to a server running the Xinet WebNative or WebNative Venture software. nStream 2.0 adds compatibility for WebNative 7.0 with the introduction long filename and unicode support.
Additionally, with this new release NetCrumbs introduces a new licensing model for nStream. The utility can be used in three modes: Demo, Lite and Pro. User can now try out nStream without the use of a server side license. In Demo-mode nStream will allow a user to connect to any WebNative server and upload up to 5MB of files, provided that they have the proper credentials to authenticate. A WebNative service provider can request a FREE Lite license to remove this transfer limitation.
nStream Pro adds several ways to customize a users experience. Administrators can limit where a user can upload files or add the ability to download files. Additionally, nStream Pro give the ability to offer unique branding opportunities by adding application banner graphics. These graphics, which are retrieved from the server upon initial connection, can be customized and changed quickly on a per-user basis.
